Television: We spoke to many British people living in France who started with good intentions to immerse themselves in French life and in particular to watch only French TV. It seems that for many these sound resolutions lasted a month or so before giving-in and subscribing to SKY in order to get British TV. This is partly to do with the desire to fully understand what is being said on TV without having to concentrate, but also because French television is dire.
